The establishment of the University Press offers the N.T.U.A. a fine opportunity to make significant interventions in the field of reference books and other textbooks with due consideration also to books of cultural importance and general interest.
The publication of select books on the basis of international standards constitutes a perfect vehicle for making a considerable contribution to Higher Education and Culture; it is also on a par with the contribution of the N.T.U.A in the fields of education, training, science, culture and to society in general.

REFERENCE TEXTBOOKS
With the publication of books from various disciplines relevant to the Departments of our Institution, the N.T.U.A. sustains its profile in the publishing sector based on academic and educational criteria. This upgrades the status of University Textbooks and, at the same time, increases the number of references and textbook titles as a bibliography available to students of N.T.U.A. and other Universities.
TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS
This line of publications addresses the needs of the technical-professional market which is only partly covered by the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and other publishers. We aim to cater to the needs of engineers while practicing their profession.
GENERAL EDUCATION PUBLICATIONS
Based on high academic criteria, the N.T.U.A Press responds to public demands for books of general interest in such fields as: Philosophy, History, Epistemology, Art, and Aesthetics.
REPUBLICATION OF OLD TITLES
Among the previous N.T.U.A. publications included books of historical, cultural, scientific, and even collector’s interest. Most of these titles are either out of print or in very short supply. The republication of these titles constitutes the corpus of our new publication activity during this new period of operations.
